The Blues in the voice
Brian Tyler, singer and star of the Brian Tyler Project, is armed with a charisma and a vocal power that commands everyone's attention the moment he steps onto the stage. Recipient of 5 Lys Blues trophies in 2014, it is at age 36, during an evening outing with friends at a Karaoke bar that Brian first discovered his natural vocal talent, much to his delight and that of the guests of the bar who gave him a tremendous ovation and clamoured for more. Taking pleasure in performing on stage, he began a professional career with The Rock and Rollers, The Baby Boomers Band, an a Cappella band of his own, and Kix Party Band, accompanied by his best friend, singer and guitarist Marc Côté. KiX Party Band went on to perform at corporate shows as well as weddings and nightclubs for a decade and a half. Initially begun as a side project, Brian started a Blues band that has now become one of the most popular in Quebec - Brian and the Bluestorm. While working with his bands, Brian decided to audition for the popular TV show La Voix (The Voice), where he quickly became a fan-favourite. Brian has enjoyed tremendous success since those television appearances and now divides his time between the Brian Tyler Project, a retrospective of Brian's lifelong passion for music, and the on-going Brian and the Bluestorm band, both of which can be seen in venues across Quebec New Brunswick Ontario
